About the Dress Designer Label Prea James Bridal from Australia, RRP $6100 (bought new). Classic with a modern twist! Dreamy, thick, heavy ivory silk -you simply can’t buy fabric this beautiful on its own! This dress made me feel absolutely beautiful whilst also being super comfortable and able to enjoy our special day. The thick luxurious silk smoothed out any lines (although I still wore seamless underwear). It hugged my curves in all of the right places whilst still being forgiving. The thickness of the silk also meant I didn’t have any problems with static. Fit/Alterations: I am normally a size 8/small but have wider hips, as you will see from the pictures. Prea James did a split size for me, the top half being a size 8 and the bottom portion of the dress being a size 10. Obviously the dress could be further altered to fit but I don’t think the hips could be taken out much larger than a size 10. Dry cleaned at a specialist wedding dress dry cleaners. No marks or evidence of wear and tear. -Only worn for approx 3 hours. Alterations Size 10 hips taken in approx 5mm each side. Dress height/length taken up to match -I am 178cm with wedding shoes on in pictures. The Essentials Condition: Worn once for approx 3 hours, no flaws.
