• A statement piece from high-end British label Fenn Wright Manson (operating 1974-2012) • RRP £400 / $900 NZD • Made of 60% mohair, 40% polyamide This is an extra-long fringed cardigan in a vivid purple, with an open knit that’s almost lace-like. At its longest point, including the fringe, it’s about 138cm from the shoulder (falls almost to the floor on someone around 170cm tall). It’s a versatile piece that can be worn in a few different ways: open and flowing, wrapped and secured at the back, belted, or turned upside down for a shorter length with more of a shawl around the neck (I’ve included photos showing some of these options). Note that the size tag and care/yarn label have been removed, but the yarn is 60% mohair and 40% polyamide (it looks delicate but the polyamide content makes it surprisingly strong). I think it would suit a size 10-12 – please check the measurements below. This is in excellent condition with just one small pull which has been tucked onto the inside and isn’t at all noticeable from the outside (you’d struggle to find it). Measurements taken when laid flat: Underarm to underarm (across back): 49cm Length (top of shoulder to longest point including fringe): approx 138cm I’m selling a similar cardigan from the same designer (it’s a soft mauve colour and doesn’t have the fringing).
