Handmade by myself. Made from a lovely thick 10oz vegetable tanned leather, aged beautifully. Patina on this leather is fabulous. The leather has been burnished by a product called Toconole both outside on the smooth leather, and inside on the raw to give it a smoother finish. All marks , scratches and blemishes are part of the leather as this leather had been stored for several years before it came into my possession. This part of the hide has many more scratches and marks. I love the fact that the colour is much darker and the leather has much more patina. The leather is lovely and tactile and the more you touch and use , the more patina will be increased. I created this to look like cheese which has had a bite taken out of it, which was fun. I also used a stamping tool to try and create marks that look like mice footprints/teeth chew marks. (I hope it was successful) 2 different notebooks included are as shown , but as this is held by elastic , they are easy to change to your preferred notebooks. A ring has been added so you can attach charms to your journal. Unfortunately , no place to hold a pen/pencil. I hope you enjoy my creation and make lovely memories in her.
