A beautifully understated Oroton with that effortless, polished quality the brand does so well. The warm taupe sits somewhere between stone and soft mocha, making it an exceptionally easy neutral to pair with black, cream, chocolate, denim or tonal dressing. Crafted in supple pebbled leather, the bag has a relaxed foldover silhouette that gives it a modern, slightly slouchy feel without losing its clean shape. The long leather strap allows it to sit comfortably crossbody, while the detachable gold-tone clasps mean the strap can be removed when you want to carry it as an oversized clutch. The foldover design opens to reveal a lighter contrasting leather underside, with a separate secure zippered main compartment underneath. Inside is Oroton’s signature tonal patterned lining, while the subtle gold Oroton branding and warm gold hardware add just enough polish without making the bag feel overly branded. It is one of those useful in-between sizes — substantially roomier than a small crossbody while remaining slim and streamlined against the body. Pair it with cream tailoring for a tonal look, black trousers and a knit for everyday polish, or denim and an oversized white shirt for something more relaxed. Gently used condition with signs of previous wear visible on close inspection, particularly around the leather edges/corners and hardware, as photographed. The leather remains beautifully supple and the interior presents well. I take care to photograph each item clearly so you can see the exact condition. Please review the photos carefully before purchase, as they form part of the description. RRP: $399 (Oroton)
