A beautifully preserved vintage men's vanity case, hand-finished in genuine English cowhide leather, tan with oxblood trim. This fold-flat travel case was designed for the discerning gentleman, fitted with a magnifying mirror, nail file, cleaning brush, comb sleeve, chromium-plated hairbrush and soap dish (both stamped "Chromium Plated, Made in England"), a compact clothes brush, and a leather compartment gold-embossed "Electric Shaver." The electric shaver pouch is a telling detail — this style of case became popular through the 1960s and into the 1970s as electric razors overtook traditional wet-shaving kits. Condition is excellent for its age: supple leather with minor surface wear only, all stitching sound, chrome bright, mirror clear. Two straps are now empty but the case remains highly complete and displays beautifully open or closed.
